In the last 2 weeks I had absolutely incredible experience working with a film crew on a new Shaw commercial. I painted a 8’x4′ big three dimensional G for the phrase “Together is Amazing” and took part as an actor in the commercial as well. Everyone was an absolute delight to work with – all the production crew at Radke, filmgroup and Shaw TV (Big props to Emily!). I worked along side some very inspiring artists including Robyn Waffle, Michael Tickner and Chris Polyck. I’m not sure when the commercial airs – but I’ll definitely let you know (unless you see it before me). Shaw filmed a background documentary piece on the project as well. The letters live on at Shaw headquarters in Calgary and then be moved around to other Shaw locations. Yay for the letter G!!!
